What Lenain prescribes
To address a genius, Lenain asks that its name, its attributes and its verse be spoken during the twenty minutes of its reign. He adds silence about what is asked, a favourable moment and a talisman: see what the genii are for, and how they are invoked. We report the prescription as written in 1823; we promise no effect.
